2012 Balsam Lake Lodge Weekend Come join us for a weekend in May at the Balsam Lake Lodge in North Carolina Syd Mayes has reserved the lodge for 4 days You’re invited to attend this event. Accommodations for the weekend will be limited 10 attendees. First come first serve. If you’re interested contact Syd at Once Syd has you registration and event fees you’ll be added to the list and will be able to join your friends at this event. Don’t wait as registration will only be available until April 20, 2012 Since this is a remote location with no restaurants nearby there will be breakfasts and dinner provided from Thursday dinner to Sunday breakfast. Bottled water and soda will also be provided Total cost for the weekend is $100 including food and accomodations |

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Balsam Lake Lodge offers a haven in the Nantahala National Forest. This mountain getaway can be reserved for weekends and weekdays. Located in Jackson County, the lodge overlooks Balsam Lake and offers spectacular mountain views. In addition, a variety of recreation is offered. Near the 8 acre lake are three short hiking trails, several fishing piers, and a picnic area. The lodge's amenities include: 16 twin beds (some bunks) located in five bedrooms complete with linens, blankets, pillows; fully applianced kitchen with all utensils; outside grills; three bathrooms; wood for fireplace; gas heat; and phone for local or credit calls. |

Balsam Lake Lodge is located off Charleys Creek road in Jackson County NC. The roads and dual sport trails in the area are great. If you’ve ridden in this area you know, if not you’re in for a treat. Whether you ride the great roads in the area or the dual sport trails, you’ll have a great time. |
